Free tool

Free QR code generator.

For a link, a message, a Wi-Fi network or a contact card. No sign-up, no watermark, no limit on how many you make — and nothing you type ever leaves your browser.

What should it do?

This code is permanent. Everything you typed is encoded into the pattern itself, so it cannot be changed once printed, and there is no way to count how many people scan it. That is true of every free generator, ours included — it is the reason the paid product exists.

When you need more than this

A free code is fine until you need to change it.

Codes from this page are permanent. The destination is baked into the pattern, so a moved office, a new offer or a typo means reprinting everything — and you never find out how many people scanned it, because nothing sits in the middle to count.

Good to know

Questions worth answering first.

How big should I print it?

A rough rule: the code should be at least a tenth of the distance people will scan from. Scanning from two metres away means a 20 cm code. When in doubt, bigger.

PNG or SVG?

SVG for anything a printer handles — it stays sharp at any size. PNG for screens, documents and email.

Can I change the colours?

This tool keeps them black on white, because contrast is what a camera reads and a low-contrast code fails in poor light. Colour and logo options come with a plan.

Do you keep what I type?

No. The code is drawn in your browser and nothing is sent to our servers. Close the tab and it is gone.
